Remote Interpretation Hubs
What is the best way to do Remote Simultaneous Interpretation?
The best way to do Remote Interpretation is with a remote interpreter hub.
Remote Interpretation hubs bring all the interpreters together in a single location.
With ISO4043:2016 booths and ISO20109:2016 compliant Hardware.
To match as much as possible the live conference interpretation experience.
Interpreter hubs consist of one or more booths, pre-configured and ready to go.
What are Remote Interpreter Hubs?
Remote Interpretation hubs are studios that provide interpreters with conference level hardware and software to support them when they work remotely. All equipment surpasses industry standards, with pre-event checks and maintenance to ensure that only the highest standard of interpretation is delivered. The interpreter hubs are a holistic solution that account for all the details that make up conference level interpretation.
Audio and video feeds of the event are streamed to simultaneous interpreters working in ISO compliant booths live, emulating the environment of an on-site interpretation job, and removing all potential distractions for interpreters. The interpreters then use ISO compliant hardware to provide interpretation for the event. The interpreted audio is then streamed to either the venue, or delegates attending the event remotely, or both, using stable, low-latency internet provided at the interpreter hub.
What are the benefits?
Higher audio quality.
Interpreter communication is better, since this replicates most accurately the working of Interpreters being on site.
Reliability of the Internet in a known location.
No audio interference from external sources (Dogs barking, door bells chiming etc)
Language switching is faster with hardware solutions
An onsite technician to deal with any issues immediately and directly.
